3 Reasons You Should Try Pall-X Gold

Mar 24th 2022

With the popularity of waterborne hardwood floor finish continuing to rise, we’re seeing more competition in that sector. The playing field is getting cluttered, and it’s hard to know which ones to use, but if you are considering a change from oil to waterborne or you are moving up to 2-component there is one waterborne hardwood floor finish that you should seriously consider: Pallmann’s Pall-X Gold.

Launched in 2019, the Pall-X Gold is a two-component finish. According to Pallmann, it uses the latest in resin tech and advances in raw materials to give you one of the most innovative products on the market today. But let’s break that down and look at what it really means.

Here are three reasons why you should try Pallmann’s Pall-X Gold on your next project:

1. Both the clarity and the durability from Pall-X Gold are made to last.

If you hate getting calls from customers upset because their floor is changing colors and the finish is yellowing over time, Pall-X Gold has got you covered. It starts out milky white when it’s wet, but don’t worry. It dries clear. Plus it is not UV sensitive. This means that it doesn’t amber.

On top of that, this finish is tough. It’s ideal for high-wear commercial and residential areas. Not only will you get a deep, rich, finished appearance, but that will stay for a long, long time.

2. Pall-X Gold works fast.

When your customers are in a hurry to be on their floor again, it’s hard to make them wait a week or more for the finish to cure. Pall-x Gold is the answer!

This finish dries after about 2 hours, so you can have light foot traffic after approximately 3-4 hours. And with the right conditions, Pall-x Gold fully cures after only 3 days.

3. Pall-x Gold flows and levels perfectly for easy application.

According to Pallmann, you can apply Pall-x Gold with T-bar applicator, brush, cut-in pad or roller. Whatever you pick, applying this finish is a breeze! With it’s superior leveling, you don’t have to worry as much as you would with some other finishes.

Just be careful not to apply it too thin or overwork it as you’re applying it. Keep a coverage rate of 450-500 square feet per gallon to be safe. If you don’t, you could still see bubbles, streaking, visible lap lines, sheen variances, etc.

Bonus! Pall-X Gold is also an amazing value.

Even with prices rising everywhere, Pallmann works hard to keep their prices affordable without sacrificing quality. Pall-x Gold gives you more bang for your buck than lots of other finishes. It’s a premium two-component finish that offers tremendous value.

Don’t forget: Pall-X Gold is fully compatible with all of Pallmann’s sealers, finishes, and Pall-X Bond.
