Shipping Policy Summary
- Floor Mechanics offers FREE ground shipping on orders over $75 to most locations in the contiguous United States. Some exceptions for heavy items may apply.
- Our standard FREE shipping delivers to most continental US destinations within 1-2 business days.
- Shipping cut off times vary, but we make every attempt to ship same day if you order before noon on a standard weekday (Monday – Friday, excluding holidays).
- Express shipping, shipping insurance, and signature delivery are all available for an additional cost.
- Our team works hard to make every attempt to notify you of any delays in shipment related to product availability, but sometimes, we are not able to reach you before the shipping cutoff for the day.
- Products on your order may originate from multiple warehouses and may not be delivered together or on the same day.
- Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska may take longer. Many items will still arrive within 2 days, but can take up to 7 days.
- International: For some locations, like Canada, we have a special section of products that will calculate shipping on our site. If you need something that is not in this section, please contact us.

FedEx Ground Shipping is FREE for all orders of $75.00 or more before tax delivered to destinations in the continental United States. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be charged for shipping. Orders under $75 before tax will be subject to a flat shipping rate. Shipping insurance and signature delivery options may be purchased for an additional fee.

Our standard ground carriers include but are not limited to FedEx Ground, USPS, UPS or LTL. We reserve the right to select the carrier used for all ground shipments. If you have questions about the ground carrier that will be used, please contact us at 800-372-5090 or Sales@FloorMechanics.com.
We operate three offices and shipping centers across the US: Omaha, NE, Kearneysville, WV and Sparks, NV. We ship products from our nearest warehouse whenever possible. Our team works hard to make every attempt to notify our customers of any delays in shipment related to product availability. Products on your order may originate from multiple warehouses and may not be delivered together, or on the same day. Check your packing slip for origin details, or contact us for more information.
For some products - such as wood flooring, treads, machines tools, and other large products - shipping may not be free and will be added based on product weights and dimensions.
We offer express shipping options on most orders for an additional fee. Express delivery is not available to all destinations or for all items. Eligibility can be confirmed by contacting us. Estimates of arrival date shown during the checkout process are subject to stock availability and other shipping policies. Confirmation that your package is estimated to be delivered on your desired date can be confirmed by checking the "My Account" section of the website to insure all products were shipped. You can track your package using the tracking numbers received with your order to see the estimated delivery date.

Delivery schedules are not guaranteed. Most carriers have an on-time delivery rate of around 98-99%, but we do not drive the truck and are not responsible for carrier delays. All carriers have similar performance but no carriers are 100% guaranteed. There is no shipping credit or product discount available for orders shipped using a ground method that did not arrive on time. Express shipments that were delayed by the carrier for non-weather related reasons may be eligible for a shipping credit. Please contact us for details.
We ship a very limited number of products to P.O. Boxes. Please contact us if you need to know if a product can ship to a P.O. box.
All specials and promotions are limited to stock on hand. We reserve the right to limit quantities on promotional products. We are not liable under any legal theory for consequential or incidental damages arising from shipping delays, system downtime, or for any loss, damage, or expense arising from product malfunction or defect. We expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This disclaimer in no way affects the terms of the manufacturer's warranty, if any. Other restrictions may apply.
Return Policy Summary
- All returns require prior approval. Email us at Sales@FloorMechanics.com or call 1.800.372.5090 to get approval.
- You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund.
- You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
- Shipping costs, including the price of shipping the item to you initially, will not be refunded.
- Refunds will not be issued until the item has been received, inspected, and deemed sellable as new.
- Special ordered items cannot be returned.

Return Policy Full Text
You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
If the return is not due to our error, products must be returned to our warehouse at your cost. We recommend you purchase insurance for your return shipment, as damaged products will not be refunded.
If you would like us to print a label for you using our shipping rates, we are happy to do so and then we will deduct that cost from the refund.

You must ship the product so that it reaches our Returns Processing Center within 10 days after authorization. Returns are not accepted for orders over 60 days old. Expedited shipping costs, special delivery fees, signature fees, shipping insurance or any other shipping on the original order will not be refunded.
Products will be inspected on arrival. Products not in the original packaging, where the packaging or product is damaged, products with broken factory seals, products missing warranty cards, manuals, accessories, or components, products discounted and products that were special orders cannot be returned for a refund.
We recommend you purchase shipping insurance for your return shipment, as damage products will not be refunded.
Refunds will be issued after products are returned, inspected, and deemed sellable as new.
Items returned which arrive in damaged or opened status or after the allowable refund time frame will be returned to the buyer assuming buyer wants the product and is willing to pay return shipping.
If you need to return an item, please email Sales@FloorMechanics.com with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
All products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects. If an item proves to be defective within 15 days of the date of your invoice, we can assist with the repair or exchange of that item for you, according to the terms of the manufacturer's warranty.
Please Note: Order cancellations which occur after an item has shipped (even if the order is cancelled the same day it is shipped) will be treated as a return subject to all the same terms described in this section.
