Bona Retarder is an additive that improves leveling and increases the open time (time before the finish dries) of Bona waterborne finishes. It is designed to be used when the indoor humidity is low and/or the temperature of the room is higher than normal. Using Bona Retarder will reduce the risk of the finish drying too quickly and leaving applicator marks in the dried coat. Can also be added to Bona Sportive Paint for lower viscosity and better leveling.

Can be added to any Bona waterborne finish (Bona Naturale®, Bona Traffic®, Bona Traffic HD®,
Bona Mega®, Bona Mega HD, and Bona Novia™) to retard the drying/curing process.
BEFORE USING, READ ALL DIRECTIONS
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Add one 5.4oz. bottle of Bona Retarder to 1 gallon of Bona waterborne finish (Bona Traffic, Bona Traffic HD, Bona Mega, Bona Novia) then shake thoroughly for 15 – 20 seconds. Once mixed, apply finish according to label instructions.
