Bona ClassicSeal is an exceptionally clear waterborne sealer that highlights the natural color of the wood, minimizes grain raise and tannin bleed.  Provides a build layer and prevents the finish from penetrating the wood surface.

Bona ClassicSeal wood floor sealer is specially formulated for use with Bona waterborne finishes.  Bona ClassicSeal seals the wood, minimizes grain raise, provides a build layer, and prevents the finish from penetrating into the wood surface.

Coverage and Application

• Coverage is approximately 500-600 square feet per gallon.
• Bona ClassicSeal is a CLEAR wood floor sealer.
• Bona ClassicSeal water based hardwood floor sealer should be used as the base coat for Bona Naturale, Traffic, and Mega finishes (unless you are staining the floor - see instructions).
• Application Hint: Abrading with a 320 grit conditioning/maroon pad prior to the first coat of finish will reduce grain raise.

Odor and Stability

• Very slight non-offensive odor.
• One year shelf-life in an unopened container.
• Non-flammable: Bona ClassicSeal should be stored in a climate controlled environment.

Necessary Tools and Materials

• Bona Floor Coater
• Bona Roller
• Bona Cut-In Pad
• Note: Use a clean applicator for sealer and a separate clean applicator for finish.

Drying Process

• Fast drying - approximately 2-3 hours (high humidity and/or low temperature conditions will extend the drying time).
• Full cure (meaning scuff, scratch and chemical resistant) in one week.
• Do not allow foot traffic until the floor is sufficiently dried and cured.

Cleanup 

• Application tools should be thoroughly cleaned with water and stored in an airtight container.  
• Dispose of any remaining product in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

**We do not recommend using a screen with this product. Only use a maroon/conditioning pad.**
