Bona Traffic SuperSport Seal
Bona Traffic SuperSport is a unique, quick-drying, non-ambering formula that reduces grain raise and prepares the floor for a protective top coat of sport floor finish. It seals the wood, provides a high build layer with elasticity, and prevents the finish from penetrating the wood surface. SuperSport Seal gives floors the build and depth of finish required for sport floors.
Recommended for basketball courts, multi-purpose gym, stage, aerobic, dance and yoga floors, volleyball courts, racquetball, squash, and badminton courts.
Coverage and Application
- Coverage is approximately 500-600 square feet per gallon.
- Clear and colorless when dry.
- Bona SuperSport will adhere to most stains, paints, sealers and finishes after proper preparation and dry times. Stain, sealer, paint and finish results may vary widely depending on the wood species, especially on oily and resinous types.
- Bona SuperSport Seal is a four-coat system:
- 1 coat of a Bona SuperSport Seal
- 1 coat of a Bona SuperSport finish
- CourtLines Paint or Bona SuperSport Paint
- 1-2 additional coats of a Bona SuperSport finish
Odor and Stability
- Very slight non-offensive odor.
- One year shelf-life in an unopened container.
- Non-flammable: Bona SuperSport Seal should be stored in a climate controlled environment.
Necessary Tools and Materials
- 18” Bona Swivel Head Floor Coater with a Bona Floor Coater Sleeve
Drying Process
- Fast drying - approximately 2-3 hours.
- Full cure (meaning scuff, scratch and chemical resistant) in one week.
- Do not allow foot traffic until the floor is sufficiently dried and cured.
- Furniture can be moved back in carefully after 3 days.
Cleanup
- Application tools should be thoroughly cleaned with water and stored in an airtight container.
