Due to popular demand, Floor Mechanics has started producing sample containers of Bona Craft Oil 2K.
These 1.69-ounce sample jars make it easy to create color samples and unique custom blends. Bona Craft Oil 2K samples do not include a hardener but are able to provide the same rich color of Bona Craft Oil 2K, making it a useful option for choosing color before mixing up a full can.

Bona Craft Oil 2K has all the benefits of a natural oil finish plus the performance you expect from Bona. The enhanced open time of Bona Craft Oil 2K - along with its ability to set up quickly - makes it easier to work with and allows for light use in just 8 hours. The unsurpassed viscosity penetrates deep into the hardwood floor in just one coat, resulting in strengthened wear resistance and an organic looking floor with a rich patina. Further protect the floor by over-coating with any finish in the Bona Traffic family.
COMPATIBILITY: Product results may vary widely depending on the wood species, especially on oily and resinous Exotics. ALWAYS PREPARE A SAMPLE OR TEST AREA TO DETERMINE COMPATIBILITY, APPEARANCE AND DESIRED RESULTS.
SANDING AND PREPARATION OF NEW FLOORS:
1. Sand and prepare floor using accepted industry association methods.
2. Make your final cut with 80 to 120-grit paper then multidisc with 120 to 150-grit paper.
3. Use a Tampico Brush on a dust containment buffer and vacuum thoroughly.
4. Tack with a dry Bona Microfiber Mop or cloth.
5. Apply Bona Craft Oil 2K.
THE BONA CRAFT OIL 2K SYSTEM: Bona Craft Oil is designed to penetrate and seal bare wood in a single coat. In some instances a second application may be necessary for even coverage and color appearance. Other Bona Craft Oil 2K colors may be mixed together to create custom blends.
RECOMMENDED APPLICATORS: Red buffing pad, Bona Steel Trowel, squeegee, cut-in pad, 2" paint brush and Bona Cotton Cloths.
WARNING: Rags, steel wool, or waste soaked with Bona Craft Oil 2K may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. Immediately after each use, place rags, steel wool, or waste is a sealed, water-filled, metal container.
